Landmark Home Warranty provides standard coverage for protecting your major household appliances and systems. What we like about the company is the extra services offered in their standard contracts. Alongside their home warranty protection, the customers also get the pest control and termite treatment services. They also offer system tune-ups which is a significant advantage when buying its home warranty. The company offers transparent coverage options and fair pricing. But, the downside to choosing this company is that it is available only in six states, and there are often complaints about service delays. The company still needs to work on these things to compete with its competitors.

Trustworthiness of Landmark Home Warranty

Landmark Home Warranty has won the customers’ trust by offering the best home warranty services since 2004. The company has built a name in the market because of its responsive nature. You can reach out to the company’s representative through a phone call, chat or fill out its contract form on its website. You can also connect with the company by directly messaging on its Twitter and Facebook accounts. Its easy-to-use website and online portal are impressive, where the customers can put up their service requests. Searching for advice or quotes for a home warranty can be challenging, so conduct thorough research to settle down on the best-suited plan

Landmark Home Warranty Plans

Landmark Home Warranty offers separate plans for homeowners and real estate agents/buyers/sellers. It also provides its customers with additional coverage options. Read further about the plans in detail:

 Homeowner Plans:

According to Landmark, people who live in a home for more than 30 days are considered homeowners. Here are two types of homeowner plans discussed separately:
  • Home Systems Plan: The plan only includes coverage for the systems in your home. The Home Systems Plan costs around $34/mo but varies depending on your state.
  • Total Protection Plan: The plan offers home appliances and systems coverage. It  approximately costs around $55/mo but varies depending on your state.
Note: The above pricing is based on a property within 5000 square feet. The overall cost of the plans differs according to your home’s size, location, and the deductible option you select.

Home Buyer Protection Plans/ Real Estate Plans:

There are four real estate plans for home buyers and sellers.  These plans cost $350- $525 every year with a service fee of $60 every month. The different plans (in detail) are discussed below:
  • Essential Plan: The plan includes appliances and systems. However, it doesn’t cover certain items.
  •  Advantage Plan: The plan includes appliances, systems, and upgrades. However, it doesn’t include some essential appliances.
  • Value Plan: The Value Plan is the same as Advantage Plan, including appliances, systems, and upgrades.
  •  Comprehensive Plan: The plan is the most extensive plan you can purchase. It  covers everything from the Essential, Advantage, and Value Plans.
Landmark’s No-Fault Coverage is provided in all its plans, except for the Essential Plan. With this feature, a specific amount of money is set apart for incompatible systems, repairs, improper installations, modifications, and haul away fees.  Note: These real estate plans can only be taken within 30 days of the home purchase.
